A Message from John:

First off, thanks for all your support in 2010, where you guys gave €2,000 to the Susie Long Hospice Fund. This year I'm again going to cycle for the same charity and why not? It is an excellent cause!

The plan is, I'm going from Kilkenny and heading to Montreux, where I did a years work experience, ten years ago. It's not going to be as straight forward as that though, as I'll be going over a couple of mountains, including Europe's highest mountain pass, the Col de l'Iseran.

Again I've set up a charity page for donations, which you can pass onto your friends (see links below).

This year I will not be entirely alone, and will be joined for five days by Mike Dunne, who is coming down from Germany and will be heading over the Col de l'Iseran with me.

You may have noticed I've updated the facebook page. I've also added the map and profile for this years route. Just look at the photos and you'll see some maps amongst the photos from last year. The maps are for this year.

As per last year, none of the money donated is being used to fund the trip, I'm paying for everything myself, so all the money donated (outside of online transaction fees) goes to the charity. If everyone gives a little, the charity will have a lot :)

Thanks for the support!
